This is one of the few restaurants where everyone's actually satisfied after the meal. We ordered cheese pizza, casserole w/ lemon chicken orzo soup, meatball sandwich, and traditional gyro. The portions came larger than we thought but everything was fantastic! Also, the inside of the restaurant looked clean, home-style, and nicely decorated.

My wife and I are just finishing a meal as I write this. Lemon chicken soup was delicious, as was the spinach pie, Gyro and Greek salad. Now we're completing the meal with baklava. The sole proprietor seated us, took our order and prepared the food, and we enjoyed every minute of our interaction with her and our experience.

Very yummy! Smallish cafe style restaurant, with the best Greek food I've ever tasted. There were four people in our party and each of us left happy and full! I ordered a Greek salad with chicken and it was amazing. The chicken was cooked in the most delicious spices, the feta cheese was moist, and the dressing was mind blowing!! Everything is homemade and worth checking out. The only downside was the portion on the gyro platter. It was a little over priced for what my husband got, but the gyro itself was the perfect size and well priced. The baklava was incredible.

We were a little concerned walking in at 7pm on a Saturday and the restaurant was completely empty. These concerns faded after the appetizers (hummus and flaming cheese something) which were fantastic. The rest of the meal was just as excellent. The short story is this place is one of our favs in MB and it seems to be completely unknown. Great food and quiet atmosphere. The prices were a touch higher than I thought they should be or It would be 5 stars all day. Check this place out!

Had an early dinner. Food was really good. A little different taste on some things as the cook is from the north west of Greece. Pace was slower which was nice on a rainy afternoon. Spanikopita was disappointing. They were small but you got a few of them. Would have liked more in the center. Everything else was awesome food. Price was reasonable but not as cheap as a carry out.

Don't order the gyros. Not good. Being from Chicago I'm spoiled but this was the worst gyros I've ever had.

We cannot comprehend why this restaurant got 4-1/2 stars! It was not only the worst Greek food we (my husband & I, both food lovers!) have ever had, but also one of the worst meals we have EVER eaten in ANY restaurant. As many reviews said, we were the only ones in there (& we can see why!) There was 1 waitress and the owner's mother was cooking. We ordered numerous things, as there were 5 of us eating. I had the grilled chicken strips, lemon potatoes, chose a side salad (not the soup) and the green beans, which the waitress said were the best of the 3 (not the broccoli or zucchini)...the waitress told me, after I asked, that all the veggies were frozen...REALLY? My husband got a 1/2 baked baked chicken, lemon potatoes, a side salad, and zucchini. My daughter got the pork souvlaki skewer, rice, soup, and greens beans. My 2 sons got soup and cucumber yogurt dip. The lemon chicken orzo soup was thick, slimy, and bland. The salad was made with the darkest of the Romaine lettuce and bottled Italian dressing came in a side plastic cup! Not only were the veggies frozen, but clearly reheated numerous times! Because it was so quiet, we were able to hear the microwave being started repeatedly while waiting for our meal. The lemon potatoes were gray and bland, clearly reheated numerous times, as well! The pork 'cubes' were so over cooked and dry they were inedible and came with plain white rice. The grilled chicken strips were obviously bought frozen & already in strips, they were bland & colorless. My husband's baked chicken was also an interesting shade of dull gray, dry, and heated in the microwave--no browning or crispness! The only thing that was decent were the bread triangles and tzatziki dip, but we were leery to eat the dip/dairy due to the fact that nothing was fresh and with their lack of customers, who knows how long it had been sitting! We felt like Gordon Ramsey was going to walk in any minute to try and help the place avoid bankruptcy! On the way to the bathroom, you have the pleasure of passing their desk just beyond the fake brick 1/2 wall, overloaded with paperwork, a real mess which customers should not have to see...what does the kitchen look like, it's probably better we don't know.

Now THIS place is one of those hole- in-the-wall restaurants that bedazzles! When we walked in on a Saturday afternoon, right around 12:30pm, there wasn't a soul in sight. We were greeted by a nice young lady and I think there was one cook in the kitchen, but other than those two individuals and our group, no one else was in the entire place! Atmosphere was also dull and really had nothing outstanding to it. I barely remember it to tell you the truth. But I am soooo glad despite the lack of life and décor, we stayed and tried their food (and people did eventually trickle in after about half an hour...). The food was FANTASTIC. I had an order of their dolmadakia (a.k.a "grape leaves") and an order of their spanakopita and loved them both. The dolmas were seasoned perfectly and melted in mouth. I also appreciated that they were generous and gave 8 pieces with the order when most places only give 4 or 6, the 8 piece was really cool, and it was still only $5.75. The spanakopita were light, fluffy and savory (especially w/the tzatziki sauce!). I also had a slice of my friend's Grecian Delight pizza, which was also incredibly flavorful. I couldn't believe that the black olives in it didn't bother me, normally I HATE black olives and pick them out, but they just had a subtle amount in the pizza and were not at all overpowering. For dessert, they have a gorgeous display with a selection of cakes and traditional Middle Eastern desserts such as baklava. I was too full to try any but everything looked amazing and the next time I'm there I plan to save room in my belly and sample something sweet. Grecian Delight is definitely an authentic Greek restaurant, is pleasantly non-touristy, and knows how to create quality dishes. If you like Greek cuisine, I highly recommend giving this place a try, the food will leave you smiling!

Don't get scared away by the location and the outside appearance! The food is delicious and the decor on the inside is really cute. This is literally a mom-and-pop place which is why everyone should go and support them. They seem to get more business from carryout than dining in, but you can't get saganaki to go so I recommend eating there (I'm biased because I love cheese and I love watching stuff being set on fire tableside). The saganaki was amazing and was served with house-baked pita. The moussaka and spanakopita were really nice-sized portions and reasonably priced. This place is definitely worth checking out when you are in Myrtle Beach!

All the food was delicious and me and my parents couldn't get enough of it. We tried a little bit of everything there and it was all delicious. Everything is homemade even the dessert like the baklava was good because I'm pretty sure that it is a family owned restaurant. Will definitely go back there again if I'm in myrtle beach area

I'd give it 4.5 stars, but since we can't give half stars, 4 it is. This is a small place, in an unassuming strip mall, but it is very clean, and family run, which is our favorite type of place. When we ate dinner here on vacation, we were taken care of by the mother of the owner, a very nice woman who certainly knew her way around the place. She was friendly, but not imposing, and always offered a warm smile and graciously received our compliments on the food we received. We were the only people dining when we arrived, and during our meal, one other couple came in, and a phone order was also prepared for carry out. This was on a weeknight at 6-ish during the off season. The food-- oh my, the food was excellent. We started with Hummus (textured enough to the point where you know it was just made in the kitchen before you ordered it), which came with homemade pita chips that were excellently flavored, and lightly toasted to perfection. My husband had the gyro platter, which comes with a salad, pita bread, a vegetable, and the choice of rice or potatoes (he chose potatoes). It was a huge amount of food. I got a Greek salad topped with gyro meat. We both loved the meat, the flavor was unsurpassed, and it was the perfect consistency, not chewy like a beef/lamb jerky. The homemade Greek dressing was amazing. Tzatziki sauce came on the side for the meat, and it was incredible, so smooth and well seasoned with the perfect amount of garlic. My son got a toasted italian sub that came with a honey mustard dressing that he raved about, and -- what else?--french fries. He's twelve, so that's still how he rolls. He loved his sub, and said his fries were perfect. I wish they'd had baklava, but they were out when we were there. That was a definite bummer. Five star food at very reasonable prices-- Around $10 per person, not including drinks. They do have a children's menu, and serve a small selection of wine and beer. I took the half star away because it was only the one woman doing everything in the place (cooking, serving, collecting the check, etc) while we were there. There were a few times when our drinks went empty, and our meals didn't come out at the same time. I think that when the second couple came in, and the phone order was received, our server got overwhelmed doing all of the things that she was doing, and I don't blame her, but if another party had come in right at that time, things might have really fallen apart. I would assume that they staff more help during the high season and on weekends. Fantastic meal. Friendly service. Quiet, intimate setting, but casual enough to wear jeans. Reasonable prices. It's a sure win all around if you try this place.

Best cabbage rolls I have ever tasted. They came with a side salad or soup. It was a little pricey, but I would definitely go there again.
